The other day while I was out competitive shopping for a client and I encountered these very creative and high-energy display windows at Bloomingdale’s Home Store in Oak Brook, Illinois. In the midst of my busy shopping trip this retailer not only caught my curiosity and focused my attention on their products, but they made me smile. On closer look I realized the retailer had merely grouped a variety of everyday houseware items into these happy citrus colors collections. It was the perfect playful and fun message as this was the week before Memorial Day and this thoughtful arrangement set the tone for the start of the summer season and summer entertaining. It put me in the summer entertaining frame of mind… I instantly started thinking about my next party.

This was a particularly sunny day that aided in elevating my mood, but added a challenge in photographing these windows, but I think you can see how impactful they were even with the sun glare.
